Chapter 31 Summary

When Jack reaches Augustus, he finds a motel and checks himself in as Roscoe Finlay. All he really needed was time to work. He takes out the Yellow pages and looks up motels, and then using a map he bought at the desk on his way in, he narrows his search down to eighteen motels. He calls each in turn, asking the clerk for Paul Lennon. Almost through the list, he strikes gold. Given the room number, he leaves his key on the bed, and goes to pay Hubble a call. Surprised at first, and then resigned, Hubble greets him, and Jack tells him immediately they have to go. Hubble looks around the room once, and leaves taking nothing with him.
