Chapter 26 Summary

Jack spends some time making it look like he is actually in Hubble's house, leaving the Bentley parked out front and turning on lamps and television. Then he helps himself to gloves, a ski hat and some mascara to darken his face. He locks the door and walks across the street to secrete himself in the bushes and wait. A Kliner foundation truck shows up less than an hour later. The tracks made by the truck are like the ones Finlay described at the Morrison house. The first one to get out is the Kliner kid. He is dressed to kill in a white nylon body suit with a hood, a surgical mask, rubber overshoes and thin rubber gloves. He opens the back and four more men get out of the truck all.....
