Summary

In Chapter 25, Grace becomes sick the next morning. Her health is deteriorating by the day. Jane asks Grace if she has ever been to Venice. The two decide to go to Venice together. Jane is not ready for their time together to be over just yet. They have trouble finding their hotel in Venice. It is raining and a kind young man gives them umbrellas and takes them to their hotel.

Grace sleeps most of the next day suffering from tremors in her sleep. Jane monitors her closely in case she has a seizure. The next day Grace is nicely rested and they begin exploring Venice. At one point in their walk, Grace becomes confused and does not seem to recognize where she is or who Jane is. She soon recovers, and they continue exploring. They go for a gondola ride.
