Summary

In Chapter 21, Jane goes back to the pub where she got drunk to retrieve her credit card. The bartender recognizes her as being with Caleb. He asks if she can get a message to him. Caleb needs to call Jeremy, or send an email to let him know if he’s going to take the gig in Austin. He cannot hold if open forever. The bartender tells her that Caleb told him to tell Jeremy he would get back to him, but Jeremy has not heard anything yet and cannot wait much longer. She tells him that she will give Caleb the message.

Jane is hurt that Caleb did not tell her about the gig. She scolds herself for falling for someone so young. He has his whole life ahead of him and will go places that she cannot follow. After her work...
