Summary

In Chapter 3, Grace and Jane have lunch. Grace is worried that Jane is not eating. Grace orders beers for them to drink. Jane is surprised because she has never seen Grace drink. Grace says that just because her husband is in recovery and Jane’s family should be does not mean that they cannot enjoy a beer every now and again. Having the beer makes Jane eat a little because she does not want to drink on an empty stomach. Grace asks Jane about work. Jane tells her that she has not returned to work yet.
