Chapter 18 Summary

Susannah tries to escape from the car. Marcus screeches the car to a halt before hitting a guardrail and hauls Susannah back into her seat. Marcus continues to drive and pulls into the driveway of the Beaumont mansion.

Chapter 18 Analysis

Marcus insinuates that he has already killed or is going to kill Tad too since Susannah had told Tad about his killing too. Marcus tells Susannah she's going to die by drowning.
