Section 2: Chapter 2 Summary

On Monday morning, Erin forces Jacqueline to attend her Economics class which she has skipped since her break up, since Kennedy is in the same class. Entering the classroom, Jacqueline avoids her assigned seat next to Kennedy and scans the other available seats. When she recognizes her savior in her class, she sits in a different seat, next to a boy who seems sleepy. Jacqueline still has not told Erin about Buck's attack because she wants to forget it ever happened, but the stranger's presence reminds her of her feelings on Saturday night.
