Chapter 41 Summary

The contact for Ilich Ramirez Sanchez, aka Carlos the Jackal, is a fellow Cuban, who had warned him thirty years ago that he was going to be liquidated by the KGB. He is also the one who led Carlos to Rodchenko. However this, he says, will be his last job for the Jackal. Carlos kills him and takes his uniform and identification papers.

Jason's guide gets him the flares and grenades he asked for, and they continue their search for Carlos. Jason compares Novgorod to Disneyland.
