Chapter 29 Summary

Together again, Marie tries seducing Jason back into his David Webb persona. It fails. Marie wants to call the children, but Bourne insists they wait until he has called Johnny St. Jacques to have the children removed from Tranquility Inn. Then he and Marie drive out into the countryside to Rambouillet at a cemetery where Alex once tried to kill Jason thirteen years ago. Meanwhile, Johnny is moving the children and giving instructions to his staff. Pritchard immediately calls his "esteemed uncle" on the main island to inform him of St. Jacques' movements. The children are being transferred to Tannenbaum Estate, a CIA safe house in Virginia. The uncle calls Paris at once.

In Langley, Charles Casset is challenging his Director Peter Holland on his refusal to assist Conklin and Jason. Casset agrees they.....
