Chapter 22 Summary

Jason enlists Franzois to try and locate Marie somewhere in France. The Frenchman is unable to do so and gets Jason's advice on how further to proceed. Jason gives him all of Marie's aliases, and Bernadine remembers who she is from the Canadian publicity she had gotten years ago. He sets out to try again.

Later, Jason makes his way to Le Coeur du Soldat bar he had learned about from Fontaigne before he was killed. He knows this is a contact point for Carlos the Jackal. Sitting inside the bar, he observes a message received and relayed and knows this is the right place. Jason slips the bartender a note and left the bar to see if he would follow. Jason uses all his powers of observation to find a way to make.....
