Chapter 20 Summary

International news coverage lets Marie Webb find out about the murder of Gen. Teagarten and the ominous blood red name of her husband as Jason Bourne written on the tabletop. She contacts Alex to see if it is true that her husband is in Paris. He assures her that Jason is being watched, but she argues that he is too smart to allow that to happen. Unimpressed, Marie decides to go to Paris herself to find David, aka Jason Bourne. Prefontaigne goes to Boston to see Judge Gates. He has figured out the connection between Gates and the Jackal and intends to use that against the lawyer. He tells Gates about the mix up at Tranquility Inn when people thought he was Gates.
