Chapter 4 Summary

A clandestine pickup was arranged as David is met at National Airport by what turns out to be a CIA driver, who takes him to where Alex is hiding out. Gradually Jason Bourne is subjugating David Webb, as he and Alex discuss the complication that the Jackal is now fully aware of Medusa. Bourne is positive there is a connection. Alex tries calls to key Whitehouse personnel to smoke out the Medusa people, who may be involved in this whole affair. He hits a bull's eye with Albert Armbruster, chairman of the Federal Trade Commission. Armbruster then calls Gen. Norman Swayne. Alex smokes out more of the high ranking Medusa members.
