Chapter 2 Summary

Alexander Conklin, long retired from his position with the CIA, is reluctantly drawn into the front of this new threat. His connections in government still give him entry into the covert operations of Langley. Once inside, however, he begins to suspect that there is something being hidden from him, something that is ominous and dangerous both to himself and to Jason Bourne. Things have changed drastically at the CIA since Conklin's day with most of the work being done in front of computer screens.
