Summary

Chapter 43

Tris and Tobias steal some time away and go into the Atrium. Tris muses that so much of their time together has been spent in life or death situations that having a peaceful moment together feels foreign. She looks forward to a time when that is the norm. They are going to have to split up in order to accomplish both tasks: getting into the weapons lab, and going into the city to memory serum one of Tobias's parents (and to tell Uriah's family about his impending death).

Tobias and the others ready themselves for the trip into the city. Tobias warns George, who is monitoring them from the control room to inoculate himself against the serum. George doesn't ask questions, but nods. Tobias wonders why Peter had been so adamant to come along with them into the city and makes...
