Object Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. Objects

Divine Pathos - This is what Heschel calls the key to inspired prophecy.

Prophecy - This is what has happened to God and what will happen to the people.

Israel - This was the home to a great many people who were considered God's people.

Righteousness - This is said to be interdependent and give peace and trust.

Patriots - These are people who love their country.

Bible - This is a book that is said by Heschel to be not consistent in nature to anything else we know about during the time...
