Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
The First Turning - This idea is a period of 'High' and is full of confidence in the current moral order.
The Second Turning - This idea is a period of 'Awakening,' questions the established order, and provides a spiritual and moral critique of it.
The Third Turning - This idea is a period of 'Unraveling,' is a period of institutional decay, and precipitates a crisis.
The Fourth Turning - This idea is a period of 'Crisis,' institutions collapse, and lead to a new established order of values.
