Summary

In Chapter 11, Christophe takes Joshua to work in Germaine. He then goes home, picks up Cille, and returns to Germaine for her to get a rental car. Cille asks if he has any job leads. He claims to have “a couple” but does not elaborate. He knows he cannot risk staying at the park for fear Cille will see him. He goes to Javon's, parks the car out of sight, and asks to spend the day there. Javon understands the situation and invites him in. A woman named Tilda arrives to buy drugs from Javon. Javon gives Christophe a bag containing crack to sell to the next customer along with some of Christophe's marijuana. Javon tells Christophe he can keep that money.
