Summary

Thursday begins her conclusion with a statement that for her, “as a young immigrant woman of color” (92), she used to believe in the Constitution but now has come to realize that it does not, and will never, protect her. She argues that the Constitution needs to be abolished and recreated as a document “that truly considers all human beings as equal and that actively protects our planet. Because without that, there is no future for any of us” (93)
