Summary

In Chapter 46, Walk paid a visit to Colten Sheen, a counselor to whom he had taken Star to see for several years. Sheen remembered Star, but said he had only seen her once. He did see her each week standing on the street corner across from his office waiting for the bus.

The bus took Walk to Fairmount County Correctional Facility where Walk talked to Cuddy. Cuddy told Walk he liked Star. Even though Vincent had caused Star pain, Star was helping to heal Vincent. Cuddy explained they had been like a married couple over the more than 20 years she had visited him.

Because Star was so pretty, Cuddy realized right away that he could not let them visit in the common room. The men were too cruel and used her to attack Vincent once they recognized Star was his soft spot. Cuddy...
