Summary

Everyone besides Lettie goes to Buzzards Bay. They arrive at a small pub called Trout Tavern. Lucky notes how comfortable Freya and Stella seem together. The group heads into the bar, where they are the only patrons. Meena introduces Lucky to Lucille, the bartender. Meena tells Lucille that Lucky had found the latest spoon, and has Lucky show the spoon to Lucille, explaining that she is a “Tender,” a type of non-witch who helps out witches. Lucille pours out drinks and tells them they will have to spend the night there, and then leave in two different directions. The group gets drunk on Lucille’s insistence, and they sing along with the jukebox. Meena pulls Lucky aside to continue discussing Lucky’s mother. Meena tells Lucky she thinks her brooch is connected to the coven...
