Summary

In Chapter 24, Nesryn realized that Chaol felt guilty for having developed feelings for Yrene. She walked to the aerie. Sartaq found her there. He told her that he did not trust his family. He asked her again if she would join him on his trip to the Tavan Mountains. She realized that he had intended to leave in an hour. She decided to join him and left a note saying goodbye to Chaol and claiming that she held him to no promises in their relationship. In Chapter 25, Chaol and Yrene went to the Torre library. Nousha showed them books about the Valg.
