Summary

In Chapter Three, Miranda spent the next two weeks obsessing over the dollhouse. Her parents urged her to go out and explore the neighborhood with them, but she continually told them she wanted to stay home so that she could explore the dollhouse. She discovered that she could look through the windows of the dollhouse and see into different rooms. The dollhouse kitchen window showed her the kitchen, the dollhouse living room window showed her the living room. The dollhouse windows showed her scenes from different times in history, but none of them were in order, and she could not predict what the dollhouse would show her next.
