Act 1, Pages 13 - 21 Summary

Dennis suggests they take five thousand dollars, go to France, and return the rest to Warren's father. Warren says he intends to keep the money. Dennis says he is crazy, as his father will send "large men" after him. Warren says his father doesn't know he has the money as he found it in his room while he was out for supper. He was going around the house looking for things to "lift" and saw a briefcase on his bed. He jimmied the lock and saw all the cash. He decided he wanted to make his dad pay so he took the money and replaced it with old issues of National Geographic and locked the briefcase up again. Warren believes it will sit there all weekend and his father will only discover it Monday if he tries to deposit...
