Chapter 5 Summary

They stop at Ray's house to see if his father left a message before heading to his office. When they get to the office, Lara notices minute drops of blood that have seeped into the cracks of the tile that she'll have to return to clean. She pays attention as Ray types in the password, RAYGUN, into the computer. He pulls up the Alisa Perne file. As he closes the file. Lara convinces Ray she hears a noise outside and sends him to investigate. He tells her to lock the door behind him. She pulls her file back up and uses diskettes in Riley's desk to start copying her file. She pretends like the door is stuck when Ray returns so she can finish copying the file. She deletes the remainder of the file, except for the first page.
