Chapter 3 Summary

Alisa explains that the vampires were the original Aryans—blonde hair and blue eyes. Alias was born in 3000 B.C. in a small Indian village, Rajastan. Her name at the time was Sita and her best friend is the mother of all vampires, Amba. Sita was seven when the disease struck the village that wiped out all of the vampires, except for her.

Amba is one of the first in the village to die of the plague. A priest that recently visited the village convinces the villagers that they need to allow a deity into the body of one of the corpses to get the devil out of the village.
