Summary

During a birding trip Tiffany asked Stephen to tell her about himself. He talked about his music and the time he was into drugs. His dad took him to rehab when he was 18. He said it was his scout leader that got him interested in birds. He’d earned the status of Eagle Scout to keep his dad happy. From his description of himself, Tiffany realized how different they were. When he put his hand on her leg, Tiffany noticed he was shaking.

Elvis wanted to take Tiffany out dancing. Tiffany asked Stephen to act as their chaperone as a way of getting permission to go. They picked Elvis up and he directed them to the bar.
