Chapters 12-19 Summary

Chapter 12 opens in London. Vicary is meeting with Churchill for a personal update regarding the spies. The British have believed they caught them all and control the remainder, but obviously that is not the case based upon the recently acquired transmissions. Vicary spends hours reviewing all the old transmissions and case files in an attempt to determine where Germany will drop their new spies. After walking in the nasty British rain, he realizes a parachute jump could only happen in good weather, so Vicary contacts the weather service, discovering that the spy has a small window, the next evening, to execute a jump over Britain.

Chapter 13 opens with Sean Dogherty making preparations for the incoming German spy. He builds brush fires on the beach and waits, knowing that his wife Mary has been watching, but not knowing that Jenny Colville had...
