Summary

In Chapter 76 Gertrude is again awakened by fleas as the rumbling sound is more evident. The biting of the fleas makes Gertrude so angry that she is about to bite anything or anyone she sees.

The Farrow Gang causes widespread destruction in Chapter 77. After destroying the hay, they mess up another water area to make a mud pit for themselves before heading to a pecan tree and smashing it to pieces.

The Swamp Scouts look for Gertrude who has gone missing in Chapter 78. Bingo climbs to the top of a magnolia tree hoping to find her somewhere around the swamp.
