Summary

Chap helps his mother in the Paradise Pies Cafe in Chapter 21. He loves sticking his fingers in the sugar pie batter, but his mother always tells him to get out of it. He pours a cup of coffee for his mother, then stops for a minute to think of Grandpa Audie as he pours coffee into Grandpa Audie's mug to drink for himself. After deciding that he does not like black coffee, he opens the cafe for the day. Soon after Chap opens the cafe, landlord Sonny Boy Beaucoop enters with World Gator Wrestling Champion Jaeger Stitch. They sit at a table and order pies and coffee while pulling out maps and blueprints. The couple mainly ignore Chap as they start to make plans for something big.

Bingo wakes up for a few moments in Chapter 22. He is still hungry...
