Summary

Chap wakes up at 4:30 in the morning to start his day in Chapter 66. He notices that something is not right in the kitchen and he goes to examine it further. Upon his completion, Chap declares that some creature has broken into the kitchen. He looks everything over and determines that some of the sugar pies that were fried the day before are missing.

Chap weighs his options for stopping any more pie thefts in Chapter 67. He knows that raccoons have stolen less than a dozen pies, but he does not want to hurt them. He comes up with a way to trap them in a cage so he can set them free. As Chap is planning how to do this his mother calls him into the dining room.
