Summary

In the Chapter Seven, Eve starts her first day of work at Rosalind. Before work, Eve has flashbacks to her mother’s reprimands and thoughts about why she got into cooking. Her family had bland taste and she was very excited when she learned about spice and how that could enhance food. Her mother calls her and wishes her sympathy, but her dad, also on the phone, seems to be the more sympathetic one to her situation.

Eve feels out of place at work, with all the different patients and the tasks aside from cooking that she has to do. Still concerned with Anna, she brings breakfast to Eric, and finds out the reason why Anna is in a wheelchair; she attempted to jump off the roof. When Eve meets her at the end of the next chapter she is impressed by her...
