The Arrival of the Voiced Ones Summary

Briaali is the elder of the Tree People. She is the one that leads them back the camp. As they talk, Briaali discovers that Calwyn is both a chanter and one of the "Voiced Ones." Briaali says she knew Calwyn and Halassa's father, Halwi. Briaali also finds out that Darrow is struck with the snow-sickness.

When Briaali learns about the wheel she asks to see it. She tells Calwyn that it is magic but it is not the source of the problems that are eating at the fabric of the world.
