Tuesday 5th June: Chapters 60-65 Summary

In Chapter Sixty, Machiavelli arrives at the San Francisco International Airport and is met by Billy the Kid; through a photo Billy has of Machiavelli, Machiavelli knows he is being monitored. Machiavelli receives an encouraging phone call. His trap has worked; he is responsible for sending Scatty and Joan back in time. Machiavelli receives a letter and photo from Dee giving them permission to land on Alcatraz and the spell to awaken the monsters on the island.

In Chapter Sixty-One, Cernunnos sends a Thoughtform, a being created using Cernunnos' imagination and aura, to Dee. Cernunnos is also able to track Nicholas, Palamedes, the king, and the twins using his sense of smell. When Dee comments that Cernunnos needs to work on the Thoughtform to make it look more human, Cernunnos says there is no need...
