Chapter 1-4 Summary

As chapter one begins Percy is describing a nightmare that he is having of Grover, Percy's best friend who is also a satyr. Percy hears Grover say that he has to get away to warn someone. Percy watches as Grover runs into a bridal boutique where he is hiding when the front of the shop explodes and a voice screams "Mine". It is at this point that Percy wakes up. It is the last day of school for Percy and his mother is calling him to get ready to go. Percy notes that he has made it a whole year without getting expelled or with any trouble. Percy tries to tell his mother that he believes his friend Grover is in trouble but his mother reassures Percy that everything is fine and Percy was just having a dream. Percy walks outside...
