Chapters 13, 14, 15, 16 Summary

In chapter thirteen, Quinn Rucker is located at the Velvet Club in Norfolk working as a bartender. He is taken into custody. They find that he has been living under the assumed name of Jackie Todd. The agents discover a handgun in his mobile home and a stash of cash in a storage unit.

Quinn is interrogated by two FBI agents. He waives his rights. They go over his whereabouts for the past three months. The agents then begin to question him about an arrest under the name of Jackie Todd in Roanoke. They ask about the money and the gun. The agents mention a preliminary ballistics report they have. Quinn mentions that he may need a lawyer.

In chapter fourteen, the two agents do not have a ballistics report, but are tricking Quinn with a memo. They divert his attention away from...
