Beetle Blades

Beetle blades were mechanical creatures that resembled lizards. They had “Wicked” written across their torsos and were spies for the Creators.

The Box

The story begins with Thomas in a pitch black elevator that is in ascent. He winds up in the Glade, a land that was unknown to him. The Box is where all new boys and supplies were delivered.

The Slammer

The Slammer was a one room jail with only one window and a rickety chair. Thomas and Teresa had to spend a night there in detention.

The Changing

If a boy lived after being attacked by a Griever, he would be given a serum and would undergo the Changing. During the Changing, he would begin to regain some of his memories.

The Ending

Teresa claimed that she was sent to the Glade because she was to trigger the Ending. The Ending was...
