Summary

In Chapter 24, Molly sits in a cafe and listens to the news report that publicly reveals her as the main suspect in Mr. Black’s murder investigation. She peeks through the cafe window, as she sips her tea, hoping to ascertain if the police have found Rodney and arrested him in possession of the overnight bag filled with cocaine. Molly feels anxious, afraid that her plot failed but is relieved when the police exit the hotel with Rodney in hand cuffs.

When Molly goes back to her apartment in Chapter 25, she, Juan Manuel, Charlotte, and Mr. Preston discuss their success and the events that preceded Rodney’s arrest. Molly and Juan Manuel both question what they could have done differently to alleviate confusion. They converse as friends and Molly is reassured that even though she no longer has Gran she is not...
