Summary

Chapter 30 returns to Eunice in 1989. Godfrey is in a nursing home and Grace is trying to get Godfrey to remember who Bomber is. Godfrey does. Portia arrives and insists that Godfrey should know who she is, but Godfrey does not. Bomber does not like how Portia behaves and treats everyone. Godfrey tells Eunice in confidence that he feels certain Portia is his daughter, but he feels there should be a perk in his disease.
