The police backup that Taggart called arrives minutes later. Mitch jumps into the Honda and drives away before they can find Taggart. Mitch is frightened now, knowing that he has committed a terrible crime by assaulting an officer. Mitch is sure Taggart will put a bulletin out on the Honda as soon as he is able to speak. However, Mitch only has a small amount of time, so he focuses on Holly. At the same time, Holly finally manages to get the nail out of the wood floor.
