Part One, What Would You Do for Love?, Chapter 14-18 Summary

Mitch rushes down to the garage and finds the gunman dead. The gunman landed on a wheelbarrow in such a way that he cut his throat and crushed his windpipe. The gunman also shot himself when he fell, sending a bullet directly through his heart. Mitch does not immediately know what to do, but he knows he cannot allow the other kidnappers to find their partner dead. The kidnappers might blame Mitch and this could cause them to harm Holly.
