Summary

In Chapter 4, Maurizio shocks his father when he refuses to break up with his girlfriend, Patrizia Reggiani. Rodolfo has been raising his son alone since the death of his wife and Marica‘s mother. He is very protective. He worries about kidnappers. He tries to teach Maurizio the value of money by giving him a limited budget. Maurizio has learned to go to his father’s driver, Luigi Provino, when he needs money or help in other ways. Rodolfo worries that Patrizia, who is known to be looking for a wealthy man with a name, wants Maurizio’s money. After several disagreements, Maurizio packs his bags and leaves. His father informs him that he will disinherit him, but this does not stop Maurizio. He goes to Patrizia’s house and tells her family what happened. Her father gives him a job and tests...
