Chapter 3, The Hounds of God Summary

Bod has learned that Silas plans to go away for a length of time. In his place, Silas has arranged for a Miss Lupescu to stay nearby and to provide Bod with food. After Silas leaves, much to Bod's distress, Miss Lupescu starts bringing him strange food and forcing him to learn strange lessons that he does not want to learn. Bod and Miss Lupescu do not get along and Bod finds himself hiding the lessons she has instructed him to learn rather than study them.
