Summary

The perspective changes to Yolanda, who arrives home and thinks about the past. She married Anthony, who was Elwin's best friend. She remembers the excitement she felt as they bought this land and planned the house. Yolanda worked each day while Anthony built the house. She stops herself from that line of thought. Just a few days ago, she was in Las Vegas with her boyfriend Cal. She was having acid reflux so badly that she went to Urgent Care where she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.
