Summary

In the beginning of Chapter 13, Lucy picks up her repaired fiddle but is feeling sick to her stomach over having to beg Michael for the money to pay for it. Lucy tells Marco that she plans on playing the fiddle until they have enough money to rent a room at the Blue House, which is falling apart but has a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. She makes enough, and they walk to the Blue House, which is owned by an older man named Giuseppe. Giuseppe says that Lucy, the kids, and Fitz can stay as long as they would like. Lucy charges her phone and sees the notification about the baby again. Although the room they stay in is tiny and filled with noise, Lucy is finally able to rest after being homeless for a week.
