Summary

In Chapter 21, Whistledown’s paper notes that Simon has returned to London.

When Daphne and Simon returned to Hastings House, they were confronted by Anthony, Benedict, and Colin. Colin said they were not leaving until they were convinced that Simon loved Daphne. Because Daphne did not want her brothers forcing Simon to say that he loved her, Daphne tried to make them stop. She apologized, but Simon said he knew her brothers were acting out of love. He leaned close to her and told her that he loved her. He kissed her and then looked at her brothers, asking what they were still doing in his house.
