Summary

In Chapter 8, Whistledown reports that she has learned that the entire Bridgerton family, as well as the Duke, went to Greenwich. She also reports that the Duke and one member of the family were very wet when they returned.

The boat trip to Greenwich was relatively uneventful, but there was a moment when the boat was docking when Simon got the urge to kiss her. Anthony saw and understood Simon’s look. He separated the two by offering to escort Daphne to the shore. After they were all off the boat, Violet called for Anthony to escort her allowing Simon to pair up with Daphne.

As Daphne watched Simon interact with her siblings, she told him that he would be good with children. When Daphne suggested he would be a good father, Simon reminded her that he was never going to get married...
