A Garlic Knot Summary

Alpha comes to Frankie's room the next morning, inviting her to get pizza. Matthew is waiting in the car. Frankie doesn't want to get caught, but Alpha pressures her into going. Frankie gets dressed and hops in with Matthew and Alpha. Alpha smokes a cigarette as they drive. They talk about pizza and girls. At the pizza parlor, the guy who makes pizza hasn't come in to work, so all that is available are garlic knots. Matthew, Alpha, and Frankie get some to go.

Alpha mentions custard, and it seems to Frankie that he is letting her know he remembers the day on the boardwalk.

Frankie talks to Zada on the phone about Matthew. Zada says Matthew tries to compensate for his wealth by trying to be normal, but then invites random people to his house in Martha's Vineyard...
