Summary

Tate and Jessamyn immediately begin scouting the camp for opportunities to peddle their wildfire. Jessamyn becomes acquainted with Gavin, whom she initially views as a potential customer, but Tate decides Gavin would be better used as a seller. Jessamyn, who is a guitarist, starts a band with Gavin, then uses their proximity in order to offer him a job as a peddler of her and Tate’s wildfire supply. Gavin gets a job at the ad hoc library in Tooley Farm, where he also sells wildfire by slipping tabs of it into the library books when customers ask him a code question.
