Summary

In Chapter 38, Mark was angry when he learned that Abby had cheated on him with Sebastian. He criticized Abby because she talked about how men objectified women and then fell in love with a man who had a reputation like Sebastian’s. Abby broke off the relationship, telling Mark that he deserved someone better than her.

After Mark left, Eileen tried to talk to Abby. Abby was unnecessarily cruel to her mother.

Abby wanted to go to Sebastian, but she knew that she had to find a way to fill in the blank spots in her life on her own.
