Book 3 Chapter 35 Summary

Bourne drives in a taxi past the Treadstone Seventy-One Brownstone. He recognizes it. He is overwhelmed with emotions. He wants to storm into the house and see where it all happened, where Jason Bourne and Cain were created. However, he controls himself and drives past the house. A few minutes later Bourne instructs the cab driver to drive back to the brownstone. Bourne is surprised to see a moving truck parked in front of the building. He is furious and gets out of the taxi with the intention to somehow stop the movers. As he gets out of the taxi Bourne hears gunfire. The taxi driver is shot in the head. Bourne ducks for cover as more gunshots rain down. Bourne dodges the bullets and sprints down the street out of range of the shooter. He assumes it is Carlos shooting...
